BibTread Next POS APIs

The POS APIs let a dealer’s point-of-sale system exchange key business information with the BTN service. Three APIs bring information into BTN—parts, invoice results, and customers. The fourth sends completed casing-out information back to the dealer’s system. Together, they help keep product, customer, invoice, and work-order records aligned.

1. Casing-out export

Let a dealer retrieve casing and related work order details from BTN, then confirm that the returned records have been handled. This API sends information from BTN to the dealer. 

 2. Customer import

Shares customer details from the dealer’s system with BTN so customer records can be kept up to date. A customer entry must include an action, customer code, and customer name.

3. Invoice import

Sends invoice-related results into BTN so they can be recorded alongside the dealer’s work and customer information. Each entry can include a tag number, invoice number and date, customer identification, and related identifiers.

4. Part-number import

Sends a dealer’s part numbers, descriptions, types, and costs into BTN so both systems can refer to the same parts. A dealer can use this API to share a list of parts with BTN.
